Enjoyed a bottle of this at Eva's European Sweets, when my band played Syracuse a few years back. Written 8.7% ABV. Poured a deep golden colour with an average head and not much lacing. Good grainy smell. Nice warm mouthfeel, kind of refreshing without the burn. Flavours of cereal malts, alcohol and light sweetness. A pretty easy-going malt liquor that is good with Polish food.

A light amber colored beer with a small foamy white head that disappears all too quickly. There's no lacing. A grassy maltiness in the nose. Fruitiness, orange sweetness and malty breadiness in the tasting. Full bodied and smooth. Not bad.

8.7% Best By 10-10-10: I didn't think this would be as good as it was. Very suprising for a lager. This reminded me more of an imperial or very strong pilsnerish brew. Actually also reminded me of another beer I sampled recently by Mendincino (Eye of the Hawk). Thought it would be clearer and lighter, but it's all good as the maltiness was there....along with some good hops at the end. Has a golden-light amber appearance. Smell a little on the sour-fruity side. You can taste and feel the alcohol. Would be good for a nice Siberian winter day. Definitely going to try again.

Yet another Polish brew; man, I have been hitting alot of Eastern-European brews lately. Here it goes. The aroma is sweet with some maltiness with some pleasant citrus coming through with some funky sythetic overtones as well with some very faint hoppiness. The appearance is a crisp and clear golden-orange with a small head on top that quickly diminishes to a light lacing that is fuzzy and off-white and leaves bubbly lacing on the glass. The mouthfeel is not too terribly bad but is simplistic and a bit too thin but the palate is wet-like but has some dryness to it. The flavor is malty and sweet with some sweet corn overtones as well as an aftertaste that is grainy but smooth to some extent considering the alcohol content with a finish that is a bit watery believe it or not and has overtones of cloying alcohol coming through. Overall, not a bad brew and as I sip this Polish elixir; it becomes a bit more smoother and not too unoffensive...I wonder if this is a result of the alcohol content and the effect on me or does this brew actually get better as it airs out?

A lot better than I expected. An orange appearance. The flavor is full of citrus. Somewhat cloying with the alcohol showing through in the finish. Kind of funky as well. Not bad.

This medium bodied strong lager has a medium orange color. Large head. The aroma is fruity, pears and peaches. It definitely has a high alcohol content; itís the first thing you taste, then comes the near cloying sweetness. The malts are caramel and toffee. The hops are spicy. Its way over balanced and the taste is all over the place. The flavor beats the hell out of most malt liquors and if you are looking for a quick buzz, this stuff is a good choice. Interesting beer, not sure I can recommend it; the flavor battle makes it worth trying once. The buzz is fairly clean, Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is harsh and alcoholic. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

A fairly malty beer but with a fair amount of hops. The malt causes it to be a sweet beer. I can't remember too many more details, but it was hovering around average.
