MIGHTY ARROW Pale Ale provides lots of pleasurable sniffs from Cascade and Golding hops with a fetching honey malt base. This is our brewed tribute to Arrow, Kim's Aussie/Border Collie mix who ran (literally) New Belgium for 12 years. When she wasn't patrolling the brewery grounds, she was famous for her office visits: She never met a tummy rub she didn't like. Atta girl Arrow.

Rather distinctly different in my book, and a fitting transition for Winter to Spring type of beer. What struck me the most is the pleasant aroma. Almost has hint of clove to it, but I don't think there is any in it

Pours with a medium copper colored body topped off by a white head that goes down quickly while leaving nice lace. Aroma is bright floral hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied. The flavor is citrus and floral hops balnced well with a malty sweetness that last throughout.

Really nice resin smell coming out of a golden beer with just a hint of orange color and a creamy white head. The taste is malty with the right hints of hops citrus and bitterness. Really nice pale ale.

another solid beer in the "regulars" of the NB line. lively but light hoppy aroma and flavor, with the honey sweetness coming out just enough - a little more in the flavor. great summer beer.

Very nice... and almost hoppy enough to make me think "IPA". Pours a clear orange/off amber with a slight head. Produces great lacing. The hops are intense for a straight pale, but not obnoxiously so, as it is nicely balanced with the malts. Medium-bodied on the pallate with a crisp, refreshing finish.

Inviting aroma is surprisingly hoppy and has grassy and fruity hints. It pours a rather typical clear golden amber but has a nice, fluffy, off-white head. Flavor is hoppy and grassy but scarcely bitter, and has just a hint of fruit. Texture is pleasantly smooth and just a little fizzy.

The New Belgium pours an orange color and has an orange flavor, with some fresh hops. Very smooth and I am delighted by it's bittersweet flavors and smooth qualities.

Pours a bright translucent orangeish yellow colour. Large frothy top white with beautiful sticky lacing. Aroma is fresh with cascade hops straight in your nose. Taste is creamy, slightly bitter, very smooth with floral notes following through. Nice clean refresing brew.

This poured a dark golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some pine as well as oranges and grapefruit. A definite floral presence there. The flavor is rather bitter with some pine, oranges, grapefruits, and lemons. The finish is rather dry. Color me impressed this was a very well done APA!

This may very well be the best NB beer that I have ever had. Absolutely perfect golden copper color, but a bit thin on the head. Smells full of hoppy deliciousness. The flavor and texture is full, crisp, well-carbonated, well-tempered bitterness...A fantastic beer. I will have to keep an eye out for more of these. This is the only APA that I have ever had that has made me wish I had another at hand.

It pours a clear golden with dimpled and ridgy white head and lacing wraps the entire glass. Grassy and sweet aroma of hops, malts, citrus, and spice. The mouthfeel is a bit thin, although smooth. Flavors of hops, malts, some nuts, citrus, and mildly spicy. Weak body, but flavorful.
