Our cool brew is a highly dry-hopped ale which is full of flavor and yet eminently refreshing. We brew this seasonal beer as a tribute to the grand American traditions of summer vacations, backyard barbecues, and peaceful picnics. Our COOL BREW is perfect for picnics and pairs with carne asada and sausages.

Not a favorite. Slightly sweet. Bready malts are more prevelant than the soft citrus hops. A little grass in the nose as well. Not enough going on to be very interesting.

Well...out of all my reviews...this could be the most spoiled bottle. I know this is not what the beer is supposed to be. Poured with all kinds of sediment that wouldn't settle. Mouthfeel was flat and flavor was kinda sour. Thought I could drink it, but had to pour out after a few sips. I'll be getting this again to review...as hopefully my retailer will credit me a fresh bottle. On top of this, I was charged a 4-pack price for a single bottle (which they are going to credit as well). Talk about a double-whammy!

A cloudy orange colored beer with a small foamy textured offv white head. Not much retention. A medium sized ringlet is left. Light hop-malt nose. Light bready malt, sweet orange and bitter citric hop all dance so well together in a medium bodied beer. Crisp and refreshing.

Another Napa Smith from my nephew's place of employment. Light amber/copper pour, medium white head, some lacing. Spicy hopped aroma, some citrus and very slight pine, grapefruits, then sweet malts. Taste mimics the aroma with a nice grapefruit and very light peach presence with the hops and a light sweetness from the malts. Very drinkable.

Sampled on 12/18/2010. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with nice retention and good lacing. The aroma is orange, floral and hoppy. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruity, citrusy and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. Decent carbonation. Seems a little mild for an American Pale, kind of missing some of the hop bite. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter
