poured a cloudy golden color with a thin white head with little lacing. A mildand sweet hop aroma. light bodied with a hop presense in beginning but not much in finish.

Another Wisconsin beer; this one from phishpond via OktoberPhist trade: Nice clear light orange amber pour with a decent sustained white head and good lazy lacing. Aromas of slight malts offset with some earthy pine hops - pretty mild. Nice flavor with a good balance of light sweet malts and pine hops with a very mild linger and slight fruitiness. Good APA with a very cool label - big thanks Travis for hooking me up!

Pours a hazy orange with a little white head. Aroma is very faint; just a bit of fruity hops. Based on the aroma, the bitter taste comes as quite a surprise--the hops are definitely present but not overwhelming at all. Highly drinkable.

Aint nobody pulling my chain here except one delicious brew to enjoy after a hard days work. Refreshing mild bitter hops and lite malt makes this pale ale a satisfying beverage for a hard-working buddy(me).

This beer poured a clear golden color with a weak head. Had a mild aroma and a balanced flavor, but did lean a little more hoppy. I detected a very distinguished Marris Otter flavor. Was a very nice beer overall.

Pours a hazey orange copper body with a nice moderately sized white head. Plenty of lacing on the glass and citrus fruit that bubbles up through this highly carbonated brew. Tight, crisp hop flavor followed by a sweet and bitter battle to the finish.

A cloudy golden color with a thin white head that disappeared almost immediately leaving little trace. A mild, faintly sweet hop aroma. Fairly light bodied with a reserved hop presence up front, but no finish to speak of. The initial dominant hop flavor fades to... nothing. Upon request, the bartender supplied me with my missing hop finish - in the form of pickled hop shoots they usually include with their bloody Marys; a delightful accompaniment for this drinkable but somewhat unsatisfying, incomplete pale ale.

I'd say this is a very drinkable brewpub offering. Slight cloudiness, but nice amber color, modest head that diminished rapidly, yet nice lacing throughout. Nicely hopped with Cascades, balanced with English East Kent Goldings. Had a slightly off (metallic?) aftertaste, but all in all, I'd drink pails full! BTW, its proper name IS "PAIL" ale, and not "pale". Therein lies a tale... (or tail?)
