Pours a light yellow urine .. . light foam but disappears after a few seconds .. . muddled sweetness with a weird tartness, not cool man! .. . he won't be back earlier..

summer beer only...as with the other "ultra" fruit beers, i found the aroma refreshing, if a bit odd. the lime smelled and tasted natural...the cactus...i dunno. overall, it was a non-offensive light straw colored beer that tasted more like a wime cooler than a beer.

Luckily, this wasn’t something I had to pay for. Watching football at a buddy’s house and his wife drinks this. So I snuck one, gave it a pour and down the hatch it went.
Aroma is some kinda limey/soapy/kid drink concoction, resembling little of anything we know and love as beer. Body is a stark, pale yellow (that’s being generous) with a ultra-bright white frothy head. Flavor is lime and little else, and that lime reminded me of some kind of cheap Mexican candy lime. Almost like some kind of alco-pop dirnk. Ugh. -

not bad if you want something fruity on a nice hot day. I thought it was going to be worse. Poured a golden colcor with aroma of citrus/limes and the flavor was similar.

Had one - thankfully, I'll not have to voluntarily endure it again. Too carbonated, too much after taste and just outright nasty. Michelob really needs to just discontinue this and stick with some of the other specialty brews (read my reviews on a few) that they are doing well.

More like a Smirnoff Ice than beer, which is probably intentional. A boat load of citrus flavors ran me over. Very decent beer. In fact, I will buy this again.

Pours yellow-gold with white head that fizzles fast, nice lacing. Sweet aroma of citrus, light malt, and grapes - smells like a wine cooler. The mouthfeel is smooth and good body. Flavors of citrus, grapes, maybe hops. Different, but tasty. Not sure what cactus is like.

Clear bottle (as pictured), Born on Dat 23 Jun 07. Good for sharing on a hot afternoon. Pours a clear and light yellow color, small white head forms and then disappears. The smell has lots of lime, but not much else. No suprise in the taste - Michelob Ultra (bland, thin) with lime juice added. A bit sweet with a citrus bite. If I didn't know better, it could easily have been a ginger ale - the mouthfeel is very fizzy, highly carbonated like a soda. Drinks like a soda and not really a beer. If they are making a light beer without beer flavor, then they have succeeded - think Corona Light with the lime already added.

From buddy's stash. Pours a lighter yellow with little head or lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of sweet lime and citrus with very slight malts. Taste is light and lime-sweet with very little malts or hops. It is like a spritzer or lime-ade with a little beer.

Presentation: Poured from a 12oz clear bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: The head is bright white in color, fizzy and fades out quickly leaving no head. Its body is pale and light yellow in color with excellent clarity. Smell: The aroma has a mild citrus lime with light grains and something that reminds me of aloe. Taste/Mouth feel: Its flavor has mild lime citrus and light grains on a smooth slippery palate. The carbonation is balanced to the light body and the finish is crisp and dry. Notes: Its very refreshing an highly drinkable.
