A pale amber beer, hopped exclusively with lots of New Zealand varieties. An antipodean extravaganza, lightly carbonated with a soft bitterness from a combination of Southern Cross and Pacifica, leading into tropical fruit flavours of pineapple and mango, with the wonderful addition of grapes from Nelson Sauvin hops - a delightful spring beer ! Available in Keg and Cask, Spring-Summer seasonal.

280 ml, on tap at the ICBF, Dublin 09/14. Poured in a session glass an unfiltered and light hazy amber-orange coloured A A with a short one finger dense, creamy and light beige coloured foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is fruity and aromatic hops on a solid sweety malty backbone. The flavour is intense hoppy bitter, tropical fruits, mango, pineapples, passion fruits, notes of caramel and flowers, a spicy touch with zests of oranges and mandarins. The mouthfeel is very smooth. The texture is oily. This medium bodied A A has a lingering fruity and hoppy bitter finish. Not an explosive bomb but a solid, well balanced Amber Ale, for short, nice.
