It's been 5 years since someone reviewed this baby? Sacre bleu! Anyway, I received a bottle from a friend (professional hockey players make a great beer network eh?) and after sitting on it for a few weeks decided to pop'er open! The beer is amber coloured, just like the bottle says, clear, with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, grass, and some floral hops. The flavour is very thin with notes of grainy malt, caramel, and some hops. It will probably be another 5 years before someone else reviews it.

22 0z bomber. Hazy orange in color with a nice light tan head. American hoppy aroma with a nice touch of fruit. Fruity malty flavor. Well balanced beer. Flavor is balanced with american hops and maltiness. Nice beer.

Bottle. Clear amber color with smallish light head. Definate grapefruit aroma. Taste right up front has a nice hoppy bitterness to it (which I love about McNeills beers). This Amber is a bit more on the hop side as opposed to most NE beers, which are way too malty for my liking.

Poured a reddish copper color with a small bubbly off white head and no real lacing. Aroma is full of floral and citrus hops, quite nice. More bitter hops than malts here, which is a nice change. Enjoyable.
