A little light all around (color, body, flavor). Nothing offensive, but pretty mild by any standards. Looking for a touch richer in the style, but this was ok.

Light yellow clear color with white small foam head. Lacing to glass. Aroma is weak German pilsener, malty. Taste is nice pilsener. Softly bitter toned, with long lasting bitter aftertaste in back of mouth. Goes well with some pretsel and sweet mustard. (Düsseldorf 201210)

Been drinking this for years now and always get excited when it hits the shelves.Pale Straw coloured light head and light carbonation. Bitterness/malt sweetness first then long bitter finish. Love the stuff!

I've had better oktoberfest beers, than this. It tastes somehow lame, nothing but the bitterness comes out from the taste. Very pale. Aroma is somehow different and has some interesting characteristics, maybe a little bit tomatolike aroma...

Pale golden with big white head. Malty and hoppy nose. Pretty bitterflavour with hints of alcohol. Aftertaste smoothens the bitterness up. Also some hints of alcohol can be found in the flavour. Can said should be served cold, but I think it got better once it got a bit warmer.

golden colour under a nice head, pretty well-hopped and quite full-bodied, some notes of alcohol before a slightly nutty finish - solid and well-brewed

Pale gold color with a small white head, with very light, spotty lacing. Grainy, lemon, and light corn in the aroma. Malty and buttery, a touch of dough. Carbonation is too much in this one, and knocks in down from at least being refreshing.

Bottle.Pale golden coloured with a small but long lasting head, some lacing. Refreshing and light, with nicely carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet and hoppy aftertaste. Good one, probably my favourite of the Lowenbrau's I've tried so far.

This is one of the better lagers I've had. I actually had a taster (from a mini-keg) with Vector at a party over the weekend. Tastes like a typical lager. Pours yellow, noticeable carbonation, and has a decent but small head. This beer is thicker than your average lager, but still pretty thin. Decent mouthfeel - It tastes mildly sweet, but turns sour as it warms. Okay session beer.
