Picked this up togo at the craft beer bar in Charing Cross Station, London, to drink on the train. Nice NZ and American style hops. lighter in all aspects than expected, slightly watery but quick drinking. Some tropical fruit/kiwi. Hard to say what happened to this beer on its journey to the other side of the planet and drank in a damp, humid climate. Alright I guess.

330 ml bottle, now available in Norway (Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget). Imported to Europe by Hamana Ltd. Herts, England. Bottle conditioned. ABV is 5.2%. Golden colour, nearly clear (just a faint haziness), rich head. Lovely hoppy aroma, notes of citrus and tropical fruits. The flavour is distinctly hoppy but not too bitter, citrus again, on a base of moderate but nice malty sweetness. A very nice pale ale!

Clear orange colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is strong hops and some caramel. Flavour is smooth hops mixed with caramel. Very well done brew, and refreshing on a hot summer day.

Amber orange, with a good head & lace. Steady flow of bubbles. Profuse citrusy, soapy American hops. Strong hop flavour, spicey grapefruit, with a long bitterness. Not for the faint-hearted, nor for those set in their ways. But, for mine, this ale has broken ground in the Australian market, and opened the eyes of the local drinkers.

Hazy orange with creamy white head. Fresh floral aroma with motes of minrals and orange-peels. Clean bitter and aromatic floral flavour with notes of peaches, minrals and bread. Dry and a bit airy aftertaste with notes of orange-peels and minerals.

Can only call this one average. Poured into a glass as it suggested, and it looked a fairly unattractive rusty colour, but had quite a strong smell of some fruitiness that i could not pin-point. But tasted fairly weak, not more than a good average drink.

cloudy amber-orange colour with a nice head and lace, robust hoppy aroma with notes of apricot, flowers and cream, medium-bodied with a solid bitterness, the finish is long, hoppy and dry - a very well-made and deeply balanced beer

Bottle. A slightly hazy golden colour with a slim white head. Very hoppy aroma, true to its style. Very hoppy taste, with citrus throughout. Nicely bitter finish, full bodied with an excellent mouthfeel. Best Australian beer I've tried so far.

the best pale ale ive ever had, and ive had a lot matey ! brewed down the highway from me in freo, its a pub/brewery right on the wharf next to the zanzibar nightclub. straight out of the vat and into a pint so fresh, fruity but hoppy in aroma, a beautiful cloudy appearance and a crisp frothy head.
