Clear red amber color with small white foam head. Arome is weak malty with some caramel. Tasted perfect with the ribs I ordered. Short dry aftertaste. (Montreal 201210)

My favorite of the two that I had on draught at Les 3 Brasseurs in Reims. Beer pours into my big glass a sparkling, bright amber. Taste is very clean, well balanced malts and red apple notes. An interesting cinnamon-y flavor midpalate. Light hop finish.

Bottled (2nd CS/ES Beer Gathering, thanks SV!). Something between amber and copper colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some resin, mild wood and some fruityness. Flavour is much the same along with some yeasty notes as well. Pleasant.

750 ml fliptop bottle. Poured an unpasteurized ruby brown colored ale with a good two fingers slight beige creamy foamy head that had a long retention. Mid-sized carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is mild roasted malts, some dried fruits, nuts. The flavour is toasted malts, caramel, biscuits, a touch of pepper and some floral hops. The mouthfeel is mild malts and quite watery. This light to medium bodied ale has a quick malty finish. An average beer.

Pint on tap at the Crescent location, served in a logoed glass with 3B coaster. Poured a deep amber color, thin light colored foam, good carbonation level. Slightly sweet, malty aroma. Good malt flavor, balanced with a hoppy finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Nothing mind blowing, just a decent, well made amber ale. Good to relax and enjoy a flavorful beer in a comfortable setting.
