The thing with Grimoire is the infections their beers pretty much all have. I am hoping that this one having more alcohol, will hide this. Hazy amber colour with a light beige frothy head, decent stay and good foamy lacing. I am kind of getting some of their famous sour yuckiness, but mostly the rum vanilla notes and sweetness. Getting some bubblegum, which is way better than infection. This shitty bacteria is present in the taste, but at least covered with the rest which is fine. Again, bubblegum notes, cloves - yep, all things that are good, but not when looking for an amber rum beer.

Bottled@omhper. Slightly hazy ambery brown colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white fluffy head. Aroma is sweet malts along with some sugary and mildly nutty notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with some slightly sourish notes.

Bottle: Poured a light clear brown color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of light sweet rum notes which is definitely different then any beer I tried before. Taste is also dominated by some sweet caramel malt with some light rum notes. Average body with some medium carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not a great beer by any feat but quite pleasant and different then most beers on the market. Definitely better then what I was expecting.
