Arôme caramélisé, son amertume laissant moins d'autorité cède sa place à une saveur sucrée qui s'accroît de seconde en seconde.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Bottle: Decants a deep chestnut brown ale into my glass, rocky 1 finger off-white cap..modest lacing. Subtle nose of sweet cocoa and wet hay. Decent chocolate/coffe tones from some dark malts..a little "chared husk" astringency, cedary hop buttering, light fruity tones....fast clean finish. Smooth chocolatey-fruity character, medium light body, a fairly decent dark ale ...drinkable but nothing really stands out.

    Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5

Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a small foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of dry caramel malt is dominating. Taste is dominated by the same dry caramel malt with not much sweetness or bitterness from the hops. Body is slightly more full then the average from the style with some low carbonation. Overall, I thought this was a boring take on a boring style and an example that wouldn’t even make a good session ale.
