Mild porter, brewed with hemp. Brewed for beer maniacs who like to drink something good even when they are thursty and like an introduction for regular beer drinkers who are affraid of beers with color. Mellow, not really complex, thirst-quenching but definitly pleasant... and more pleasant at the second sip... and again at the third sip... and more and more until the end of the glass ! Hey ! Poor another one, it's just 4.8% !

Bottle: Poured a medium black color porter with a super big foamy head with good retention. Aroma of roasted malt with some very subtle coffee note. Taste is more interesting then expected with some roasted malt with a slight sweet edge and a medium bitter finish. Body is a bit thin for the style and carbonation is about average. Good session porter and not something I was expecting from this brewery.

Poured a dark brown with red hints.Mild porter non-traditional ale with hemp, this beer is somehow pretty easy drinking.Aroma of big fat black olives,in mouth it's light and lively a bit too much carbonation for me.As a flavor the burnt smoke woods is very present a bit too much, but i really like the lightness and bitterness of this beer...For the hemp thing does it replace or complement the hops???

Beautiful tanned creamy head with good retention. Very dark red colour, almost black. Nice foamy-cream lacing. At first, the nose is grainy with roasted malt. Then, the coffee comes out with notes of chocolat and molasse. The mouthfeel is quite watery. Taste is very light, with slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Some roasted malt as well. Very well executed brew, as they wanted a mild porter. Recommended for porter starters.

Poured a dark brown, reddish color with a thin, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, smoke, burnt wood, and roasted malt. Taste of nuts, dry, roasted, black patent malt, finishing lightly hoppy.

Bottle: Hemp-porter advertised as "non-traditional". Pouerd a dark mahogany with ruby highlights into my porter galss...smallish head that goes to a ring. Decent coffee-cocoa aroma with some grassy notes. Light body...ample coffee-semi-sweet choclate..hints of dried fruit....mild finish with light charring from the toasted malt and spicy bittering from the hemp...a very nice tasting porter but too thin in body for me.
