The people over at ratebeer.com seem to have gone crazy putting this one down, but it's my favorite when I want to, you know, just have a beer. It's not Coopers or Arrogant Bastard, it's just a decent beer for a decent price, and that's hard enough to find.

translucent amber appearance, virtually no head, with a watery thin palate. tastes like molasses and carmel, with some bottled water and lots of carbonation.

A decent amber appearance with a large white head. Its all downhill now. A very flat watery taste with a hint of either malt or some chemical poison. Im not dead yet. This is water with food coloring, blech!

What can I say about this beer? It's a little better than their Pale Ale. Sweeter, perhaps. Definitely darker. That's about all I can come up with. This is really a pretty poor excuse for an ale, I'm afraid. Have another one? Uh uh.

This beer poured a light amber color with an average off white head leaving light lace. Aroma is sweet malt. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied. Flovor is malty, smooth. An average beer at a pretty good price.

Not a bad beer at all, It has a satifying some-what woody taste, an ok amount of head, not a lot of lacing, Decent price for a good solid "red" ale, not really worth trying at all...

Generous beige head, fine lace. Malt nose, thin top, some hop bite at the some what dry finish. Moderate carbonation, drinkable, but nothing to rave about.
