Wispy tan head, roast cereal and coffee in the aroma. Mouthfeel is adequate, but the flavor is a little sharp although it tapers back towards the end of the glass and gives way to the smooth milk stout flavor you expect.

Just bought this a few days ago, and im glad i did. Pours a thick dark motor oil black colour with no head. No head with just traces of tan lace. Aroma is immediately coffee on the nose, dark roasted malts and maybe some rubber?? Vanilla-y on the palate, soft caramel and slight but noticeable smokiness throughout. Another nice beer all around from Tom and the dudes at Lake Louie.

Courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours a deep brown clear with a thin tannish head with lots of lacing. Some carbonation. Aromas of lactose/ slightly soured milk, toasted malts and sweet wheat. Taste is very smooth with a sweet toasted malt and toffee with milk.

The unmistakable nose of lactose and coffee take me right back to the few, but memorable, dairy farm experiences of my youth; Uncle Ray in the milkhouse filling the bulk tank and Aunt Gen in the kitchen turning out batch after batch of perked coffee for the farm hands. This stout has a dark brown color with a bold ruby hue and a medium tan head. Mouthfeel is full and creamy. Tastes of roasted malt and a slightly bitter finish with long rolls of subtle sweetness reveal the wonderful balance of this fine Milk Stout from Tom Porter's brewery in the woods of Wisconsin along the Wisconsin River, among the remaining dairy farms.

Poured a hazy, dark brown color with a small, light tan head that left clingy lacing on the glass. Aroma of smoke, chocolate, light caramel, and roasted malts. Taste of milk chocolate, vanilla beans, and a dry, roasty finish.
