Very nice amber appearance with a big malty aroma. Flavor is malty and hopped up with a nice citrus balance. Reminded me of a ruby red grapefruit. Very enjoyable and a future purchase for sure.

Deep Red color, med head, very hoppy aroma. A very hoppy ale, roasted malts. Lots of hop flavor. Dry hopped. Maybe a little too intense, hops flavor sort of overpowers everything else. Not bad, but I don't think I will drink it again. Finish is dry. Aftertaste is bitter.

Pours with a deep red body topped by a medium thick, off-white head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet, malty and fruity with a slight hoppy note. Not all that great. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with a slight caramel note and some hoppy grapefruit notes. Medium to full bodied, slightly warming and slightly dry.

This was a very solid amber ale. A flaming orange color with a mild head. Lots of hopps are present in the aroma, but more so in the taste. Some mild tartiness noticable in the taste as well, possibly some red grapfruit. This is like an amber ipa due to all the hoppiness, and is a pleasure to enjoy.

GABF '03. Nice amber pour with beautiful malty taste and aroma. Nicely hopped and balanced with nice citrus flavor.
