Pils, Munich and Vienna Malts, Tettnang and Hersbrucker hops. A classic marzen style lager, amber in color with a rich, toasty malt flavor and finish. Well balanced and smooth. The name is a play on words since in Baltimore, everyone is "hon!" Are You Hon Enough?

Very respectable... I've come to enjoy several of the Heavy Seas line up. Pours deep orange amber with a faint head and little lacing. Sweet, deep malty aroma with caramel. Ligthly spicy flavor mixed in well-balanced proportions to the caramel sweetness. I'm just proud that I have 4 more in the fridge right now.

Gift from my pal Blue Lou. What a suprise it was to recieve a package one day at my doorstep, filled with nice biers! Pours a dark orange copper colour. Aroma is pleasent. Even though a marzen from a few months past, still seemed fresh and fruity with soft spices on the palate. Creamy and full. Not too rich, but very solid. Bready with a slight touch of hops. Thanks Lou!

Gift from a friend from Maryland. Clear amber-copper pour with a thin white head and minimal lacing. Sweet malt aroma with a some grass and honey plus a touch of hops. Taste is easy and smooth with a slightly sweet maltiness and a very slight hops bitter in the end.

Good O'fest, it seems a touch unorthodox but it works well as a nice beer. Light copper in color with a thin head and spots of lacing. Sweet rolls, nuts, and straw account for a rather faint yet pleasant aroma. Crisp with some zip to the palate. Lighter bodied than most with a good prolonged bitterness. Malty with sweet and grassy flavors. Nice hop bitterness (more than normal for the style)and a good floral hop flavor as well. Bread and mixed fruits complete an impressive flavor. I liked this one much better than I thought.

Pours a copper color with a fluffy white head. Grassy aroma, mouthfeel somewhat tinny. Flavor is sweet, malty, with hints of spice. All around good for an Octoberfest!

A decent marzen. A notably sweet malty / caramel base, smooth mouthfeel and minimal spices. Of all the Clipper City beers, I probably like this one the best.

A decent enough Marzen, though a little bland. Nice coloring, coppery appearance (and aroma, which was quite strange) The metallic aroma came through in the taste as well, which was a definate downer. Overall, however, once one gets past these very small imperfections, it does have a pleasant flavor and holds its own against other oktoberfest-type beers.

Was pleasantly surprised by this one as it beat out my expectations. Poured copper dark color with a head that was decent and well sustaining. The aroma was pretty spicey (nutmeg?) upon pouring and the flavor was good too. Nice caramel malts, a pretty sweet and malty base, with the nutmeg and spicing coming through. Mouthfeel was moderate, but not heavy. A good marzen.
