No $.05 refund in PA. An enjoyable IPA, pours amber with thin skin of white for head, Aroma is quite weak, though there are sweet hoppiness to it. Flavor is quite thick and sweet, though something buttery to it...a little odd. Finish is good, but the buttery flavor turns into a caramel, which is quite nice. Overall a decent IPA.

An eponymous beer. While I have disliked many Flying Dog brews, don’t know why, just do, this one really pleased me. Tap - Poured with no head, very dark. Roasted malt and chocolate and espresso flavor. Great taste, though a little sour, not sweet enough. The outside of the glass was also VERY sticky, which signified the high leveles of sugar. Dont’ like that too much. Otherwise a fine beer!

Aroma is quite similar to the appearance of this beer, dark and coffee-like, lot’s of chocolate notes. Diminutive head, with a long flavorful finish. AN enjoyable beer that is in keeping with the Porter style.

Tap, arrived with a reddish brown palour about its countenance, Aroma was distinctive and somewhat grape-y, not quite wine-ish, but a little grape juicy-ish, not grape juicy-ish like staining your teeth from drinking too much grape juice, just a little like eating grapes through a straw. Flavor was not even close to that. slightly sweet, with heavy malts and. Overall a good beer.

Purchased this beer in a bottle, not very strange as beer of this sort usually come in a bottle. Poured dark brown, wouldn’t say black, with a minimal head. Strong aroma of coffee, taste of coffee and chocolate. Quite thin palate, in keeping with the coffee qualities. Very good overall!
