I wasn't too impressed with this one. Pretty weak on flavor and appearance, but what little is there is clean and earthy. Grassy and wheat flavors, some mild citrus and fruit. More of a lighter summer beer. Not bad at all, just kind of bland, and on the other side of the spectrum from what I am used to from Green Flash.

Pours a light straw yellow with a 3 finger head that goes down quickly. Nicely carbonated. lots of little bits floating about in the glass. Aroma is malty with strong hints of lemons and spice. Little floral scents to it as well. taste is out of the blue metallic with hints of malts and lemons. Aftertaste is fairly dry. unfortunately is is a pretty bland beer. I hope I got an old bottle.

I haven't had a huge number of saisons and I haven't loved the ones I've had...until tonight. This one really shined for me. Yeast character is central in both aroma and flavor, rich, spicy, doughy. There is fruit, but it still finishes clean and dry. Filling-medium body with tiny, effervescent carbonation bubbles. Terrific and I can't wait to hunt down my own sixer. Thanks slowrunner77 for picking this one out for me!

    22oz bottle -

Quite the refreshing saison, even for a semi-cold December afternoon. Lots of citrus, ginger and candy-malts in the aroma. Lots of fruit in the aroma, medium sweetness, a touch of yeast with a well-attenuated finish. Bright, clean and refreshing.

Bright sunshine in color. Two finger tight foamy textured, white head that tises briefly above. Settles into a small ringlet. Citric fruity, sour yeasty and a peppery note in the aroma and more so in the tasting. Refreshing enough. Light bodied and crisp.

Strong, malty aroma has a firm yeasty and fruity overtone. Pours a clear, bubbly solar yellow with a thick, fine-bubbled pale buff head. Yeasty, fruity flavor has a malty note and just a whisper of grass. Firm, smooth texture has plenty of life and fizz. Sit back with this one!

A nice offering that will be even better when it warms up a bit :) A bright, vibrant saison. Pretty much exactly what I was expecting from them...dry yeast, tropical fruit and citrus, grassy. Nice hint of ginger. I'll get again.

Bomber from Bearden Beer Market - Green Flash new to Tennessee. Nice light orange amber pour, nearly clear, tall white head, big lacing throughout drinking. Belgian funky yeasty aroma, sweet orange and citrus, slight black pepper, sweet malts, honey, floral, Spring-like in liquid. Taste is honeysuckle sweet and funky yeasts, very Belgian-esque, sweet Blood oranges, very slight spiced and peppery, smooth and lightly floral, very light bitter linger. Refreshing - glad I tried it.
