Light cereal and flowery hops are the main players with an ever so slight bit of funk tartness and Belgian spice thrown in the mix. Some fruity pear and dust as well. meh. Lighter than I prefer, but it is a summer seasonal after all.

A decent summer ale. Kind of light for a saison. Has some flavor. On sale for $4 on clearance. Probably not worth the full price...would go with something like Harpoon or Brooklyn Summer instead. In the same ballpark though...the typical pale yellowish near-lager type.

I saw the word 'Farmhouse' and I immediately thought this would be a saison or a Biere de Garde, but I was right. A decent beer that pours a nice shimmering gold colour. Aroma and flavour are both weak with nothing dominating.

What a refreshing success. A bright golden colored beer with a moderate creamy textured, white head rising above. There was some hang time, settling into a thin ringlet. A light-medium body. Well carbonated. A nice crafting of bread, citrus and some sour-tartness.

A nice golden colored ale that had very little lacing. It had a very faint citrusy and hoppy aroma. Also had a nice taste of hops, malt and some lemon notes on the palate. A nice tasting and easy drinking ale for all year round.

Golden color, crystal clear, very little head and a smidge of lacing. Aroma of dirty sweatsocks. Flavor was musty and funky...the aforementioned sweatsocks coming to mind. Almost no fruity sweetness. Not very good.

08.05.04 12oz bottle. I’ve had lots of this this summer. Pours a clear golden yellow with average, fading head. Aromas are light, citrus, some spice. Palate is wet and refreshing, more spice, reminds of a wit. Finishes on a sour note, acidic, refreshing. A quaffable summer beer, but nothing amazing.

Re-rate, 6/10 - on draft at Stateline and this didn't do much for me. Strong grass and pilsner like qualities, nothing much farmhousey to it, some caramel and honey. Snore. Original rating: Just didn't do much for me, and I have no idea why I returned to FF. Poured pretty dark color for a "farmhouse ale," and had nothing farmhouse-like about it. Just another amber ale with a mild showing in the hop category, somewhat like an ESB. Carmel malts dominated, but it had a slightly bitter punch at the end. I think they missed the mark entirely on this style.

Nice summer beer, poured a nice golden color with an average white head. Just a little lacing. Tasted of citrus, not to strong and some hops, very well balanced beer. WOuld have again.

Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty, fruity and slightly herbal. Touch of must. A medium bodied sassion (? ) Malts are fruity and mild. Hops are slightly spicy. Light and refreshing. Nice mild flavors. Well balanced. Light and refreshing this would make a great summer session beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
