A slightly roasted malt gives it a light amber color. The rich flavor dominates the malt/hops balance and is very popular among most beer drinkers.

There was nothing too impressive about this beer. The alcohol is prominent in the taste. It tasted like a mix between MGD and Bud. Very bottlecappy taste. I don't think ill have this one again.

I found this sample to be much better than the average review. Had a slight chemical flavor for the first sip but after that the flavor was pretty refreshing with a nice richness that I appreciated.

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks SV!). Pale goldeny amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some slight wooden notes, barnyard as well as mild notes of herbs. Flavour is caramel malts, some slight earthy notes, mild nuts as well as some wooden notes. Not a winner, but not a total loser either.

An amber colored ale. A big frothy white head rises above. Some hang time, eventually settling into a decent lacing with soapy film. In the nose I am a bit disappointed. There’s corn in that sweet malt. Not a lot but it is there. A medium, smooth bodied ale. A sweet corn malt and grassy hops tasting. Sessionable.

I really think this beer was bad -- I mean just spolied. I bought 1 bottle to try it, so, I wonder if it was well past it's prime. The initial aroma was seriously like cat unrine -- I can't image that's right. I will attemt a second attempt some other time...

Bottle: Poured a bright golden color ale with a medium bubbly white head with good retention. Aroma of cereal and light sweet notes are quite simple. Taste is also dominated by lightly sweet cereals with not much other characteristics. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad as much as terribly boring.

This is not among my favourites. The beer pours a clear light reddish gold colour with a huge foamy off-white head. The aroma is malt with not much else. The flavour was very dilute, almost washed away. Still, there was some discernable malt flavour.

"Pick-A-Six" Time #2. 1st Beer : Fischer Amber. Aroma is about the same as Heineken, Good mouth feeling, Tastes a lot like a light ale mixed with a little champagne (leave it up to the French to make beer taste like champagne). All in all a nice beer with pleasant properties. My first French beer and will have again.

Hey. This beer is not so bad. Maybe it was the food. This is beer is great with mussels and fries. It pours from a unique stopper bottle with a thick with a frothy head. The taste may be light but this is a pretty filling beer. Overall, this is a tasty ale from the Alsace.

My 1st french beer wasnt half bad. It pours a nice looking amber hued body with a mid sized head, carbonation and lacing were good. the flavor is sweet and a little malty but had a tinge of metallic taste.Decent finish and aftertaste. overall a slightly above average beer.
