Light, fruity and champagne-like. Fantôme brews special seasonal beers, never repeating a recipe from year to year. This one is for spring . . .

A very good beer. Ranks right up there with the rest of the Fantome brews. A beautiful hazy golden orange pour with a thin white cap. Lots of fruit and funk in the aroma. I think oranges and peaches make up the fruits. The flavour is yeasty funk, and fruity sweetness. A very good beer.

While not up to Fantome’s flagship, this is still a very good saison. It’s a cloudy yellow beer with a nice head. The richness of the grain flavor is what strikes me most about this beer. It’s a mix of sweet and dry with plenty of spice. There’s a lemony sourness in the finish. Overall, it’s just a bit middle of the road for Fantome. Perhaps, my expectations were just too high.

This is my first Fantome so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect or if I'd even like this. Pours a dirty amber color, maybe calling it brown is more accurate, with a huge fluffy head. I had to let this one settle down a bit. The aroma has floral notes, spices, yeast, and a malty-grass scent. A lot of that comes out in the flavor as well with the addition of a peppery, spicy, but also sour, barnyard, funky taste. There's a bit of an alcohol bite here too. This is a good beer, quite a bit there to keep me interested the whole way through. I sat on this for a while after purchase and I'm not sure why. I'll seek more of these unique brews from Fantome out.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy beige color ale with a huge foamy off-white head with some good retention and some good lacing. Aroma is somewhat vinous with some sour notes with some weird floral-like notes. Taste is a mix between some strong Belgian style malt with some funky and sour notes and a strange herbal/floral ending. Full body with some strong carbonation and no apparent alcohol. The last few Fantome I have had have been somewhat disappointing but this one was different and very tasty.

Wonderful fruity and spicey saison. Pale orange color wit good lacing and head. Frutiy, spicey with perfect blend of pepper, spices and fruit with the required barnyard funk. Call me crazy, but something in the spices tasted like Mountain Dew...and it seemed to work well. Really an excellent showing.

Poured a amber color with huge head and great lacing. Aroma was a ton of pepper ton. citrus and more pepper. Flavor was pepper caramel and white grapes and some thing that is in hot tea not sure what it was though. Was good.

Pours an amber color with some reddish hues, very generous Fantome-like head, great lacing, great retention. The aroma was lots 'o pepper, some citrus, lots o' pepper (Fantome-like). Flavor is peachy, grapey, light caramel, lots of pepper, another spice or two (gingerish, but not ginger, not seemingly coriander either as the feature), earthy, musty, and herbal flavors and spices or hops. Lots of complexity here, as usual with Fantome. The body is full, hearty, well-carbonated. A nice brew, spicey, sour, funky, nice. Not sure how this fits a spring bill, these Fantomes are enjoyable, but drinkable? Dunno if I'd want to session anything like this, bonus points for complexity and originality, though.

Hazy nutbrown colour, small white head. Aroma is earthy, yeasty and hoppy. Flavour is caramel malts, earth and grassy hops. Wellbalanced, but at the same time very acidic and sour.

Dark orange hazy appearance with a fluffy white head. Intense and quite beautiful aroma mango, bloodoranges, quantalope melon, over-riped peasrs and lemon with a funky yeasty undertone with notes of flowers and spices. very fruity and concentraded flavour of flowers, oranges, honey, mango and apricot with a dryish finish of funky yeast, oranges, leaves, fudge and mild spices. Spanking good stuff!!!

Nice rich, dark amber topperd by a stiff foamy head. The aroma is grass, green tree leaves broken in late summer, plums, tangerines and cheese. The flavor is light biscuity malt and subtle fruitiness, pear.
