This sessionable red ale is quite malt forward. You will get distinct nutty flavor with hints of biscuit and raisins. A light bodied beer, Asylum Harbor, is a perfect choice when you don't know where to go.

Good representation of the style, although don't really expect a hoppy red. Resembles more of an amber in appearance and flavor. Caramel malt, maybe a little rye. Tasting some bread and raisins as it warms up a bit. Kind of like a lighter version of their UXO. Going the conservative route with 7 rating for flavor and overall, but could easily bump up to 8 on the next update.

A dark amber colored beer with a very big frothy textured, beige head rising robustly above. There's good hang time on that head. It settles eventually to spotty film and thick ringlet. Nice malty nose. More simple bready malt with a light grassy and nuttiness. Light-medium bodied. Flavorable, effervescent, refreshing.
