This poured a nice looking dark amber color with a good sized head. The aroma had a pleasant malty spin and a hint of citrus, but not too much. The taste was quite smooth and enjoyable as well. This is well worth a try!

Was looking for a Thanksgiving afternoon beer to set me up while I cook before serving the bird and the Saisons and thought I'd give this a try. Aroma is sweet malt and citrus, orange detected. Pours a medium copper body with minimal off white head and some lacing. Mouth is Ok, a bit under-carbonated and a bit thin. The Crystal malt is cloying with some carmel undertones. Has a bitter hit in the middle and finishes a bit too sweet. Drinkable sort of.

Pours a dark amber, with a finger of foam. Aroma is sweet grain, and mild and lightly citric hops. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, and uninteresting. Flavor starts with grainy sweetness and light caramel, then turns mildly bitter, with a pleasing and subtle hop finish. Definitely drinkable, but really nothing to get too excited about. A pretty standard flagship offering.
