About the only thing attractive here was the appearance, which was a deep amber color. The aroma was almost iodine-like. The taste pretty much matched that-not something I would recommend.

Poured a reddish copper color with a small, off-white/cappucino colored head, and left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, caramel, and cherries. Nasty taste, cherries, spice, diactyl, and sweet malts. Not sure what they were going for with this one, but it didn’t work.

Depending on the brewer Bullfrog puts out good products. The Red Ale is a little better than most other styles of beer from other brewers.
