Copper-amber color with a faint head and virtually no lacing. Caramel aroma with a mild floral hint. Thin on the palette. Caramel-malt flavor and finish. Not that bad - just not that good either. Bland.

Sampled on 10/5/2012. This Amber Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, caramel and sweet. A medium bodied amber. The malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy. Decent carbonation. Hate to say, it’s an amber alright, nothing less and definitely nothing more. On the positive side this beer does have some nice bready malts and a very nice slightly dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet

Amber brown body, not much head or lace. Aroma of faint ripe fruit and some toasted malts. Mouthfeel was on the watery side, flavor was very faint with some sweet bready malts, with a little hops. Overall i didnt care for it much, it was too watery and not very flavorful.

This is probably my least favorite beer from Bristol. It lacks character and has a forgetable taste for an amber. Their other beers are by far better than Mass Transit.

Pours a pretty, orange-copper with small head & great lacing. The aroma combines doughy malt and ripe fruitiness. The flavor is bready with a residual sweetness that I would prefer toned down with some additional bittering hops. The body is a thickish medium, carbonation is light, making the beer almost syrupy and not particularly refreshing.

Sampled on draft at the Bucking Toad, CO Springs & from bottle. Pours hazy copper/amber with a thin head. Malt dominated aroma that smells similar to toasted marshmallows. The flavor is slightly sweet with bready, caramel malts. Perhaps some apple/pear too - maybe a bit of flowers. High final gravity for the style. Too plain, but perhaps mass transit is code for mass appeal.

This is honestly not the best beer I’ve ever had. The hazed amber brown body is topped by a small head. The aroma is malty, but boring. The flavor is ... murky might be the best word for it. It lacks characters and bores with an overreliance on the cystal malts for flavor.
