Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard we have fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were experimenting with variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a big surge of fruity aromatics and grapefruit-hoppy notes, the flavor of this complex, straw-colored ale tapes fof to a peppery, dry finish.

Tasty beer. I made the mistake of drinking a half liter of Bacardi limon before cracking this mofo. The nose, look and taste are good. I'll try again. Fruity smell, citrus taste, smooth finish. I could drink quite a few of these but only have one.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with huge white head that sticks around for a while. The aroma is citrus yeast, and hops. The taste is spicy citrus and grains. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with nice carbonation.

What what? This beer rips a dick. Tasty as hell, easy to drink, super complex flavor profile, and great price for this style of beer. Boulevard deserves a lot of credit for this offering. Get you some.

750 ml corked & caged bottle, BB date 07.2013, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, large white head. Lovely aroma of farmhouse kitchen and dry white wine, also hints of tropical fruits. The flavour is medium sweet, maybe not quite as fresh as it ought to be, but still very good. Fruity / citrussy and mildly spicy notes. Enjoyable, will buy again, and sample when fresher.

Bottle (4-Pack). Colour - medium gold, slight haze, white cap. Aroma - funky yeast, spicy hops, bready notes. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, light carbonation. Flavour - tart fruit, but not mouth puckering tart, funky yeast notes, and a decent bready malt backbone. A good beer.

Watching the World Series with KC against the NYM, so fitting beer. Golden colour, hazed by tiny particles. Fluffy big white head, great retention and foamy patches of lacing. Beautiful aromas of Belgian Ale yeast, citrus notes and a little grass. Lots of the same for the flavours. The grassy hop are nice in the finish. Alcohol well-hidden, so refreshing Saison with good citrus and pretty hoppy overall.

Not sure if it was just my bottle or batch but got a huge foamy overflowing head after popping the cap. After cleaning up the mess, it still pours a fairly large foamy bubbly white head and has a slightly hazy golden appearance. Ok lacing. Aromas of wheats, citrus, yeast. Flavours are mostly citrusy. Orange peel, zest, coriander and some pretty good yeasty notes. Full bodied mouthfeel. Astringent and tingling sensation on the palate. Some bitterness and sourness as well. Excessive carbonation. Pretty good stuff!

The beer pours a hazed golden orange with a generous frothy off-white head which lasts a while. The aroma is light citrus, yeast, funk, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied. The flavour is spicy citrus, yeast, and grains. Quite good. Hopefully we'll see more Boulevard in these parts. -

Clear darker yellow, lasting, lacing white foam head. Little sour aroma, not that much present in taste. Good beer with nice taste, easy drinking and nice aftertaste. (Arnhem 201506)

This is a very nice resemblance of a grassy, grainy, hoppy, farmhouse ale. I like the smoothness and balance in flavor. Appearance is a semi-cloudy mild yellow....slight orange in there. Wanted to try a single first, but I could get a 4-pack of this no problem. Boulevard is new to Florida, so have been testing the waters.

Pours a nice slightly hazy golden with a thick and rather persistent buttery off-white head. Aroma is wheaty and yeasty, rather strong with a hint of lemon, enough to tempt a taste. Flavor is wheaty and yeasty, as the aroma promises, with a lemon underpinning and a surprising strong hint of hops. Texture is fizzy, lively and firm-bodied. I’m glad I discovered this brewery!
