Poured a large amount of head, slightly off-white, creamy and foamy. A bit of carbonation. Fair retention and very good lacing. Has a reddish, amber tint in appearance. Light roasted malts and mild hops in aromas. Has somewhat rusty, malted flavours, mildly spiced. Has a bit of a mild tingling, bitter aftertaste and mouthfeel. Pretty darn good.

07.12.05 341ml bottle. Dark caramel color with fizzy, fading white head. Bready aromas, spicy grass/pepper hops. Tons of eff make this decent with greasy lunch, not much flavor to interfere.

Belgian ale? For me not at all...Amber ale or Irish ale would be more accurate. One of the first micro Québec that i enjojed now and then for many years.Poured an amber colour little head but nice lacing.Subtle aroma of sweet malt lightly fruity but we could also denote the hops.Full bodied and bitter coming along a medium carbonation.Flavor is sweet caramel with a good propotion of bitterness.Overall a very good beer to enjoy with a good meal anytime.

Pours a deep amber colour with a nice creamy foam head. Retention is decent and lacing is minimal. Good mixture of roasted malt and nuts for the nose. The nuts come through in the flavour as well, with a mild bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is crisp. Pretty decent Irish red style.

on tap...pour saw a amber-chestnut colored ale with a smallish cap that laced moderately. Good fruity nose with some hint of musty herb. Good caramel malt body, stiff shot of grassy hop near the clean finish....a nice draft ale for a meal...I had one with an Angus filet...excellent.

Cloudy brown beer with a medium head. Spicy nose with a lot of character. Hide the alcohol very well. I was expecting a very industrial beer but it seems this may be an exception. Very suprised and pleased by this beer. Adding "fruit" in the name might be misleading since this is more of a belgin strong ale than a fruit beer à la leifman...

Trade with Lubiere and Capflu. Orange in color and clear with a whitesh head. Nose is fruity and malty. Malty flavor. Easy driniking beer.
