A blond ale made from a delicious blend of pale malts with a distinctive spicy, floral aroma and taste. We like it a lot. You will too.

Like so many pale ales, this one is just a solid, unassuming, lightly hopped beer--nothing offensive and nothing standing out. Crisp and refreshing, doesn't overwhelm the palate or divert attention from whatever else you are doing while drinking it.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color. Smell is of hops, some citrus. Taste is a bit unusual of the style, piney, lemon, hops, bitter. Overall a mediocre beer.

I picked this up from the Wine Gourmet in Roanoke, VA. This beer was simple and tasty. A very good representation of the style. It had a decent malt backbone as well as a robust and bitter hoppiness. A nice all around beer. It's hard to go wrong with Bell's.

Pours out a gold bar yellow .. . light foam .. Anelka is french for dog turd .. . basic bitterness, light fruit skin and pine .. . quite the session pale .. . I wasn't flirting with her! I didn't even mention that I worked in propane.

Another solid one from Bells. Cloudy yellow to light orange appearance. Aroma has some citrus and pine to it. Almost an IPA in flavor, but not quite. Really good balance here, and smooth mouthfeel. Wanted to sample a single first towards the end of my summer beers sampling session(pale ales, kolsh, etc.) Will probably grab a 6-pack before the winter arrives.

a nice, simple tasty pale ale, courtesy of pfoxyjon. floral and spicy hop aroma. light in color and body with a well-balanced flavor of pale malts, bready and hoppier than the avergae pale. quite good for the style, and easy drinkin.

Yellow/Gold semi-cloudy color with a bright white head that didn't stick around for a great long while. Did leave some decent lacing however. Getting some nice floral hops in the nose to start. Nice slight butter and biscuit smell making it's way through also. Faint hint of pepper. With the taste I was getting the bitterness at first. Nice bite on the back of the tongue. Really sticks around until the neext sip. Tasting some wheat as an undertone. A bit of the spice brings up the rear. Thin mouthfeel. Crisp. Refreshing and a touch watery. This is really a decent brew. Perfect spring and summer brew.

Pours a pale, yellow color with a small white head, which leaves some random lacing. Lemon and grapefruit notes with sweet maltiness on the nose. Citrus and sweet malt on the palette, with a tinge of hops and wheat. A very crisp, clean sessionable beer with a slightly bitter finish. A refreshing summer beer. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't the result. And I mean that in a good way. But since it's a Bell's product, one of my favorite breweries, I should know that it's not going to disappoint. Not my favorite, but far from the worst of the pale ales.

A slightly hazy yellow pour with a medium white head with lacing throughout. Good carbonation. Soft floral and lemony-citrus hops are upfront and prevalent in the aroma with a bit of malt presence. Taste is clean and almost zesty with the lemon/citrus and floral hops coming through but not overpowering at all. Solid.

Nice pale ale, but not very exciting. I used some in a brine for ribs while consuming the remainder. Nice color, two finger head and decent lacing. Citrus and hops nicely balanaced with the malt.
