Arcadia introduces the newest addition to its stable of world class British-style ales. Brewed with the legendary Maris Otter Malt from Scotland, this beer is full-bodied and brings a taste of sweet caramel together with a hint of toasted malt that's well balenced with a solid presence of premium American aromatic flower lear hops

Had a couple of draughts at RFD in DC; would've liked one of these with my crabcake sanwich at the Eastern Market. Poured a clear medium amber color with a lasting off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of toasted caramel malt. Mouthfeel is smooth but with a bitter, thin finish. Caramel flavors with mild floral bop bitterness.

A very nice looking darker orange and cloudy with plenty of rolling carbonation for a show. Big foamy unfading head, probably because it was subject to a sudden jolt. Good carbonation. Chocolaty and malty at times. Quickly revealing lacing. Strong on the alky side as far as taste impression goes. Long lingering bitter finish. Quite a personality.

Clear amber-brownish copper color with a lasting 1/2" frothy head and nice stringy lacing. Aroma is woody with a delicate mix of grassy and toasted malt. Medium bodied with a creaminess that finishes watery and bitter. Burnt caramel and toffee flavors backed up by some toast and grassy, bittering hops. This beer soon grew overly bitter and bland, not too far off from the style.

Hazy amber ale with orange highlights and a fizzy, off-white head. Terrific retention. Malty & floral aroma with notes of biscuit, black tea, brown sugar, clover honey and sugar cookie. Sweet & malty flavor up front with touches of citrus fruit, pine, toffee and lemon. Adequate bitterness on the backside with notes of citrus rind, evergreen and zest of lemon. Medium-bodied and creamy with pillow-soft carbonation. Lengthy, lightly bitter, grassy finish.

This was a very nice looking cloudy brown color with ample lacing. There was a bit of sediment as well. The aroma was somewhat iodine-medicinal like and the taste matched that.

i thought this was a smooth drinkable beer, i am not good at judging the aromas of beer.Unless it smells badly, it must of been ok . It was too mild for me to try again.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy/murky amber color with a thick off-white head. A lot of sediment in it, which seems to be a staple of Arcadia beers. Sweet malty aroma with a hint of caramel. Fizzy mouthfeel. Flavor is nice, with an almost apricot taste to it. Good amber.

A nice Amber from Michigan. Sweet maltiness, biscuit and toasty flavors. Ample golding-citrus hop flavor, and slight hop aroma. Dangerously drinkable, but over carbonated and quite prickly early on. Enjoyable.
