A beautiful copper-coloured robust ale with a balanced character of caramel malt and plenty of hops. In other words, this beer kicks ass! At 5.5% alc./vol. this is definitely a beefy beer crafted for the true ale drinker.

Had a couple of these for lunch at The Craft Beer Market in Calgary. Arrived with a cloudy orange body and not much head. Aroma was hoppy enough, flavour likewise plus some hints of citrus. Decent mouthfeel, bitter yet balanced finish.

A decent IPA. The bottle I had said 6% however. A nice orange-gold pour, slightly hazy. Head was thin. The aroma was corn flakes and hops. No telling that this is an IPA. The flavour is average for an IPA, crunchy malt and citrusy hops.

Seems to stick to what ive understood about Wild Rose. They are a micro brewery that makes below average micro brews with a good selection but still mostlt swill. This IPA is like a lighter, hoppier and slightly more complex Alexander Keiths. Good hops, not the expected dryness of an IPA so it seems a bit sweet even, against the fruity hops. Not much of a beer, many better western Canada IPAs thats for sure.

Crystal clear copper body with a tall long lasting rocky cap. Cold dusty aroma, citrusy hops that come across light, there is also some hoarse, Yes I smell hoarse. Smell be good but poor for an IPA. Bitterness with no real flavor is the impression that I get. Medician, mild citrus, faint wood, no real malt character to speak of at all. It’s a highly drinkable brew because it so light, I could pound this all day long just for a IPA this is bad.

Poured out a small sized light tan head, leaves some spotty lacing and has thin retention. Brew is slightly hazy and orangy/brown. Aroma is off but not bad. Has a powdered juice crystal scent with some oversweet cirtus, grass and butterscotch. Taste is not bad either but misses the target. I find that I feel the need for more hops on some sips, then get a good dose on others. Fruitiness (lemon and orange??) and the noticable lightly toasted malts are blended good enough. Light to light-medium bodied, has a good swish. Sticks to your mouth quite a bit and does have a lengthy bitter aftertaste that hides. Very drinkable beer. More on the soft side and a decent alternative for hopheads that feel other IPA's are overkill on the bitterness. If I saw this on tap somewhere I'd get it for sure. Below average doesn't always mean that a beer sucks, just that if I had 10 IPA's this one probally wouldn't break even. I'll buy this again.

Bottle: Poured a hazy brown color ale with a medium white bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of citrus hops is definitely present but not as dominant as a standard IPA. Taste has some shy metallic hops, which are not that pleasant with some caramel malt. A bit weak in the hops department and overall lacking character to make this truly enjoyable.

Poured a beautiful dark amber-orange with a smallish cap that laces out and clings for the whole drink. Aromas of lime-like hop and fruity esters. Starts sharp with a hop blast then mellows on the tongue as the big toasty-bready malt is departed with the citrusy hops in fair balance....then the finish is bold with the hops hanging in for a sharp finish as a malty sweetness lingers. A nice ale, well balanced, good body and bright with hops. I’ll be buying some to cellar for the warmer summer days ahead.

Dark golden color (darker than Keith's IPA). Small, even head, lots of carbonation with thin lacing left behind. Nice, full aroma of the hops, some sweetness and some floral notes. Strong hoppy flavor. Light malty taste perfectly balanced with the hops. Lots of taste, bitter but not super biting and no bad after taste. Another plus from Wild Rose.

whoooohoooo, this is damn fine beer. problem is its from a micro brewery and can only be found in couple of bars and pubs in southern Alberta, mainly in Calgary. One liter corked bottles of it are are sold but hey're extreemly hard to find. Industrial Park Ale is a I.P.A. It has a nice strong fragrant hopping, but campaired with most bitters it is tad under hopped. But has great flavor, great colour, its easy to drink. what else can I say its, its just a damn good beer.
