Big thanks to Quake1028 for binging this one along. I’ve been looking forward to trying it.
Pours a murky orange to copper color with off white head out of a 16oz can. Huge hop aroma of pine hop bitterness. It is simply a firm slap in the nose of citrus hops. The flavor is just like the aroma with just huge pine hop bitterness and not nearly as big grapefruit hop bitterness too. I can just sense a sweet maltiness way way in the back of the big pile of hops. Very nice true hop monster of a beer.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Can: Poured a orange with white head. Aroma is malty and hops. Taste is tongue lashing citrus and hops that mixed well with the malts.

Pours clear golden amber with a thick and fairly persistent eggshell head. Aroma provides resiny hops - VERY hoppy - plus fresh malt and a citrus undertone. Flavor yields seriously bitter piney hops supported by tangy citrus and fresh malt, plus a hint of sweet tropical fruit. Texture features firm, smooth body and peppy, ragged fizz. Furiously hoppy!

A dark cherry amber colored beer with a big frothy textured, off white head rising atop. There is decent amount of hang time on the head. A thin ringlet is left. A light hoppiness in the nose. Bolder bittering citric hops in the tasting. Slick on the tongue

Dark amber pour with thick off white head. Plenty of lace. Excellent aroma. Citrus and pine taste with medium hop bitterness. Tasted great out of a can, looking forward to trying on tap or bottled.

Sampled from can, thanks to Andy! Pours cloudy dark copper with a creamy tan head and nice lace. Loads of citrus and pine in the nose. Pleasantly bitter with resinous hops dominating the flavor, but there is a substantial bready, caramel malt backbone. Just a beast of an IPA and any hop head should enjoy it.

The beer pours a dark amber color with about an inch off-white head that stays around for a long time. There's a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is good, the brew smells like pine and grapefruit hops, along with some bready and caramel malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some floral hops and a bit of tropical fruit. There's also a nice lingering hoppy finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with moderate carbonation. I have to say this is a pretty good brew.

Definitly not a bad beer. I'm lucky to live in Minnesota and have access to this anytime I want along with some of the other highly sought after Surly beers. I enjoyed the hops and the beer went down real easy. I prefer Bell's Two-hearted any day of the week though.

Pours a pretty amberish color. Smell is alive with citrus, hops. Taste is also hoppy, citrus, bitter, some malts, lots of flavor. Feels medium bodied in he mouth and overall is a high quality beer.
