Wish List item - from Phishpond. Orange amber pour, tall white head, nice lacing. Dank ass aroma, big hops on the nose and all over the tongue, pine and citrus, spicy and big but still remains clean somehow, nice linger too. Very very tasty and well crafted IPA - HUGE thanks to Travis!

Nice - pours medium golden yellow with a low white head. Aroma is hoppy. Mouth is hoppy with citrus, pine, and spice. Thanks to Dave for another fine RR delight.

Word up! I'll admit, not super dank as expected. Colour looks a little worn. Hazey goldenish colour. Soft semi-bitter citrus hop flavors, grassy and herbal notes. Aroma is fresh, bright fruit and herbaceous.

Another fine west coast IPA, cloudy yellow with a white head, lots of citrus hops in the nose and on the tongue. This one had a good amount of resin as well with a maltier body than most I've tried, I really liked all it had going on and how well it was put together.

I had this beer as part of a 14 beer sampler at the Russian River Brew Pub on 14 July 2011. This was a touch better than the Russian River IPA as it was a tad more aromatic and a tad more citrusy. A very nice IPA. Most breweries would love to have Blind Pig as its flagship beer - this is easily behind Pliny the Elder and Younger. That says a lot about the quality of this beer.

My friend procured this during one of his road trips. It was bottled on 2-14-11, so we didn't drink it as fresh as we should have. Nevertheless, there was still a strong aroma of grapefruit and lots of zest and spice in the flavor. Poured a translucent orange color. I thought I would like this a more than the other IPAs of the evening, but it floated right in amongst them and didn't really stand out... but that might be because this beer is 5 months old.

Teresa's - draft into standard pint glass Pours a cloudy, golden amber with a two-finger white head which dissapates into a frothy coating. Lacing is abundant, lasting and beautiful. Nose is a mild hop aroma with some grassiness and pine and some citrus, especially oranges and grapefuit. Taste is a wonderful hop bitterness, oranges, grapefuit, pineapple, mango. Bitterness never leaves but never completely overcomes some sweetness in the back that holds as well. Mouthfeel is really interesting rough edges on a medium to light brew - great fun. Finish is somewhat dry and bitter but never too much. Drinkability at this reasonable ABV is guaranteed. I want another NOW

It pours light golden with thin white head and some lace. Fresh aroma of sweet malts, hops, light pine, citrus, and spice. The mouthfeel is smooth, rich, and full-bodied. Flavors of rich malts, hops, grapefruit, and pepper/spice. Very good.

This is the second of 4 Russian River beers I tried in California recently. I think this was my favourite. A cloudy orange gold with a hoppy aroma with citrus hints and malt. The flavour was strong, bitter, yet still refreshing. The citrusy notes weren't as grapefruity as other IPAs.

wasn't sure what to think at first...a little light in color, but a nice fluffy white head. a wonderful resinous hop aroma, but at first the flavor wasn't as clean, and bracingly bitter. that, however, did not last long. as the beer opened up, the flavor grew more complex. Fresh piney hop flavor everywhere, with a hint of peppery spice and malty sweetness for balance. the body was a touch thin, but that was more than offset by it's incredible smoothness and drinkability. deserving of it's place among the best of the "regulaR" IPAs.
