Deep golden to light amber color, and a nice off-white head, with good retention when properly served. Starts off with pleasantly strong hop flavors, balanced by a firm malt backdrop, then fades to a dry finish with a lingering hoppiness.

355ml can into shaker. Slightly hazy golden copper beer with perfect two finger white head. Steady fine carbonation. Nose is citric and earthy. Light and fruity at first then a long lingering descent into bitterness, seems to grow through grapefruit, quinine, pine until a last little burst of sweet fruit and malt balances it all. Complex and contemplative.

A very good IPA, easy to drink.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
22oz bomber. Murky orange to copper color with very thin white head. Rich sweet caramel malty aroma with some light pine hops. Taste as it smells. Caramel malts, some earthiness, some wet hops and pine hop bitterness. Maybe what I’m tasting is hop flavor since the bitterness is on the light side.
Finally trying a fresh bottel of this. Thank you Alesmith for putting dates on the bottle. This fresh bottle is just yummy with crisp tangerine, dank spicy onion, some shallot and light floral hops around the edges. This has plenty of crisp fresh hoppiness that is both snappy and bitter and flavor as well.Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
Bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, pine with some malt. Hoppy, bitter and fruity. Very well balanced and very nice. Dry and bitter finish.

Big, white head, rocky, sticky. Bright copper hue. Large citrusy, piney nose! Med/full body brew. Lots of hops!, sweet resiney hops! Malt plays a small part in the flavor deptartment bit is more noticeable as it warms, as is the alc. flavor and aroma. INTENSE hop aromas and flavors! I like it! Damn nice IPA!

650 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.25%. Golden colour, only slightly hazy. Large white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma, notes of pine, caramel and grapefruit. Lovely and well balanced hoppy flavour, pine needles and grapefruit again, not extreme - just very well made.

Pours hazy topaz with a thick and fairly persistent ivory head. Aroma provides resiny hops, tangy orange, subtle tropical and fresh malt notes. Flavor delivers now more piney hops, a little bitter, plus tangy citrus and tropical fruit and crisp fresh malt. Texture offers smooth and fairly firm body with peppy fizz. A must for every IPA nut.

Bomber from Total Wine (Scottsdale, AZ). Clear copper pour and a fluffy white head; good lacing, too. Best aroma, citrus, grapefruit galore, pine resin. Agreeable mouthfeel. Superior flavour, just like the aroma, some malt sweetness to offset the bitterness. Great finish, bitter with the tropical fruit. Splendid.

Big pine and citrus in the nose. Medium amber body that is not quite clear, topped by a nice frothy head with good retention and and decent of lace. Mouth is clean, soft, slippery, medium bodied with nice carbonation. There is an exception perceived bitterness here at 73 IBU. A surprisingly solid malt backbone on this one that hints at toasted grains. Finish is wet and clean. This an excellently balanced. Alcohol slightly present. Grapefruit and orange on the font end, lovely spot on IPA. Might well be the standard against which all other Left Coast IPA's should be judged.

22 oz bottle, bottled on 1/6/14. Pours clear light copper with a big frothy off white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is sweet caramel malt, tropical fruit and dank piney hops.
The flavor is sweet bready caramel malts with tropical fruits and a lot of dank resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with slightly spritzy carbonation.
Overall, a very solid IPA.
