Harvest Ale is a 6.2% "wet-hop" IPA made from pale, munich, crystal, and wheat malts. It is hopped with a bounty of cascade hops straight from the brewery's own farm! The bitterness is restrained to allow the fresh-hop aroma and flavor to shine through. You will find grassy notes with hints of citrus zest in this refreshing ale. Since this beer can only be made with newly matured hops just hours off the vine, its release date is somewhat in the hands of Mother Nature. We know that it will fall sometime around the beginning of September. Keep your eye out for this one. You will want to drink this one as fresh as possible!

Small tan with decent retention and some thin lace.Lightly hazy copper/ orange color. Nose of light citrus, pine and spicey notes, lil leafy. Medium bodied, Lil oily, slight resin. Lightly sweet malts, caramel, citrus, some grain. Fairly dry finish, light bitterness, light fruit. Inoffensive. Bottle from statelineliquors.

12oz bottle pours deep clear copper with thin off white head. The aroma seems a touch metallic while cold and then becoming spicy hops, malts, a touch of graininess, some floral hops and a dash of caramel. The taste has nice spicy hop bitterness punctuated by spicy hop flavor and sweet malts. To midway and the finish the malt sweetness turns more caramel and the hops grow in bitterness. The after taste brings on the addition of faint floral hops and malt graininess.

A bold orange-amber colored beer with a bog frothy textured white head rising above. There was good hang time, settling eventually into a thick ringlet and decent dusting of film. The profile in aroma and taste is bold though not overpowering. It is citric, caramel and earthy. Light, crisp effervescent body. Another wonner from the people in Pennslyvania

Orange/Copper color, good white head with a lasting lacing. Smell is earthy and Citrus. Taste follows what you would expect. A cool, crisp appealing taste and mouthfeel, cut with sweet floral undertones. Definitely malt with some caramel and a dry, bitter hop after-taste. Good carbonation. VERY fresh taste and a VERY sessionable beer.

Oct. 2009 - Amber gold color, nice fluffy head. Mild aroma. Nice hoppy flavor with a real good level of bitterness from citrusy, herbal hops. Caramel malt backbone adds some, but not overwhelming, sweetness. I really liked it.
