Wellington is not known for their lagers, and this is an ugly beer bottle. A clear golden body with a small white head stares at me in the glass. Aroma is weak grass, some floral hops, and not much else. Flavour is very grainy, almost no hops cut through until the very end.

Pours a deep gold with a good sized off white head. Smells good, fruity. That head has faded to a thin layer but left behind some nice lacing. Flavour is very smooth, but not very strong and kinda bland. Thin mouthfeel with medium carbonation.

The beer poured a translucent dark gold with a generous fluffy white head which disappeared quickly. The aroma was metal, malt, and some hops. The mouthfeel is weak bodied, watery, and highly carbonated. The flavour is wet grass, some metal, and slightly bitter.

This isn't bad for a Canadian lager. It's a nice golden brown with a white head. The aroma is yeast and malt, with a hint of floral scents. The taste is crisp, clean, and a nice dose of biscuity malt. A good lager.

Dumped out of the can into my glass. Got a small amount of bright white head on top of a clear light golden brew, ring retention, a bit of thin, ropy lacing. The aroma is quite mild, pleasantly sweet with a dry grass smell, a touch of apple, a hint of caramel and nice smelling hops. Gotta breathe a bit to deep to hit all this up and that's my only crack on the aroma. Where's the flavour? So mild but still nice. Grassy, drying wheat, weak caramel and a hint of floral hops. The body is just above thin. Softly carbonated, weak bitterness and dry finish. Waaay to watery which is too bad since the flavour here is decent - just need more of it - a lot more.

Decent summer beer but i had it on New Years eve. Nice light good swilling beer but nothing exceptional. Very little head, moderate golden apperance. Not alot of carbination or any bite.

The 12 pack I had said it was best before 5/8/06, but I don't think that has any bearing on my impression of this beer. From what I've gathered, expired beer is either skunky or sour. This is neither. What it is is quite watery and what taste is their reminds me of a discount macro. While there is little head to speak of, I do like the deep gold colour to this beer, really the only redeeming value. And now, having said that, I recently tried this on tap, and it's actually better, which is kinda weird.

On tap at the Shepherd’s pub: Tapped a golden colour. Moderate cap...soft carbonation... Light doughy malt aroma mixed with light fruit tones. Soft malty, taste in a light/soft mouthfeel. Tasty light lager with a hint citrus and low bitterness. If I closed my eyes I’d have thought this was Neustadt Bruce county lager. A faily light lager...good thirst buster....but nothing distinctive about it.

Trailhead Wellington. Dark yellow colored ale with small head and not a whole lot of retention. Aroma is mostly subtle floral malt and very little else. Taste is a balance mix of floral malt with some dryness at the ends. This one lacks character overall and is probably not the best beer from this brewery.

"European style lager, craft brewed for the smoothness" is written on the bottle. Pours a golden colour with a good white head, and a great amount of lacing. Low on carbonation and a malt scent. Mildly bitter with a sweet (caramel) aftertaste in the back of the tongue. Wellington's least good brew, but still a good summer beer.
