Single bottle from Albertson in Vegas, nitro version. Pours a clean dark copper brown colour with a big beige head, creamy, super long lasting with good creamy lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, dark fruits, mildly nutty with some light grass. Mouthfeel is creamy. The taste has some dark fruits, molasses, roasted malts with hints of nuts and coffee. Easy-drinking creamy porter that does not have too much richness, but enough to keep us happy.

Pours a clear brown with no head what-so-ever. Aroma is very malty with strong hints of chocolate. Aroma has a pretty bad hint to it, reminds me of dogfood. Taste is extremely watered down and it affects what taste it does have. What it has for taste is slightly roasted with hints of caramel. I does taste good for a 4.0% brew but not as a good porter. I can see myself drinking a lot of these but not enjoying a single glass. Drinkable but extremely disappointing.

Dark ruby color / brown with diminishing foam head laching to glass. Sweet smell, chocolate taste with some coffee aftertaste. Strange beer. (Galveston 201205)

Weak sauce. Fizzed like a soda when I poured it, though the colour and lacing are decent. Watery, slightly bitter, watery tasting porter. I was hoping for more, but having been to Utah (which has some great beers!), I was afraid it would be all this. My homebrew takes craps better than this.

As far as a session beer goes this is pretty tame and boring. Nice looking chocolate brown. Thick head, decent lace. Aroma is almost not present, nor is flavor. Wouldn't want to session a beer that costs this much and is this plain.

sample from a grateful dead wanna be .. . Pours a dark brown, light white spotty head .. . suddenly! .. . pretty nice flavours, bitter chocolate and purple nogods .. . finish is a bit off .. . Let me tell you a little lesson buddy. The cream always rises to the top, and I'm about to show you the white hot cream of an eight grade boy.

The Infamous Polygamy Porter - and a Utah beer! Thanks to phishpond I can try a beer from there. Nearly black thin pour with thin head but nice lacing. Slightly weak light roasted malts aroma with hint of molasses. Pretty thin but still quaffable, with a slightly watered down toasty malt and molasses flavor. I could knock back a lot of these. Thanks Travis for a porter that marks off Utah off my beer map - long time coming.

Ruby body, nice thick cap, but not much lace. Nice aromas of cocca, And toasted malts. Mouthfeel was on the watery side, flavor was cocca powder, the finish dry and kinda bitter. Overall it's thin and doesn't have much flavor, but I crossed Utah off my state list.

Sampled from bottle, thanks to MAC. Pour clear dark brown with a nice light tan head and lacing. Rich cocoa and subtle dark fruit aroma. Hint of patent malt up front, but otherwise balanced and clean. Medium-light bodied and well-carbonated. A fine job for such a low ABV porter.

smooth medium bodied porter. pretty good balance bwtweeen the malt and hops. roasted coffee tones, smooth & ever so slightly dry finish. Better than it's score so far.
