I have to admit that this was a bit of a disappointment. I was expecting a little more from one of my favorite breweries. The color was a dark brown. The aroma was light toffee and cocoa, a slight bitterness, but the flavor was a little weak and the body a little thin. Not bad and quite drinkable, though.

Dark brown in color. On tap at Andy's in Bogota, NJ. Roasty caramel aroma. Roasty and hoppy. Enjoyable beer. Very nice beer. full bodied.

Draft @ brewery. Very light brown for a porter as was the taste and body. Light, gritty cocoa flavor was mostly predominant here. Drinkable but a bit dissapointing.

Growler sample. I really enjoyed this one, and didn't share an ounce of my 68 ounce growler with anyone. You gotta love those fancy German style growlers they sell at the Victory brewpub. Poured a dark cinnamon color with a big off white head that left great lacing. Aroma is very sweet, caramel, chocolate, molasses, coffee, and a bit of a roasty aroma as well. Flavor is very smooth, chocolaty and caramel sweetness up front, followed by some light grassy hops and some roasted flavors, like charred coffee. This is another in the long line of wins in Victory's line up.

Poured an unusually light reddish brown color with a tan head and some lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet caramel, toffee and chocolate. Taste mirrored the aroma, but also included some coffee as well. This was alittle thinner than what I was expecting a porter from Victory to be.
