Not all that dark, actually. As a plain lager, this is better than the regular Victory Lager, but as advertised, dark lager, it just doesn't deliver. Crystal clear slightly darker than normal lager brown, weak aroma and flavor. Some nice sweetness to it, but again, just not enough. Mouthfeel was maybe a tad overcarbonated, but still smooth (if that makes sense) and very drinkable. Again, maybe a good crossover beer for the macro drinkers out there, but when I think dark lager, I think a lot more richness and stuff going on than this beer has.

Nice medium brown with an ok head. Not really much to look at. But it does have some redeeming qualities in the flavor, such as a slight nuttiness and a light sweetness. Has a bit of hop kick as well.

Poured nice caramel dark amber color with a genereous initial head that provided lacing for the rest of the beverage. Aroma was a bit bready and sweet. Flavor was mostly malty with bread topping the caramel flavors. Almost no hops dectected. Mouthfeel was moderate and not overpowering. A bit too sweet for what I wanted, but enjoyable.

Victory All Malt Dark Lager poured a coppery red with no head at all. It had a sweet taste with slight notes of dark fruit. It was a very drinkable beer with good mouthfeel. Definitely worth trying.

Pours with a coppery amber hue - not exactly what I would calll dark. This brew possesses a medium light tannish head, and little noticeable nose. Body is medium to slightly heavy - nice mouthfeel. Flavor is definitely that of malt - some sweet/subtle spice suggestions are there but muted. Aftertaste is sweeter and maltier. Very good, but not my favorite.

Poured a dark amber color with a small head, little bit of lacing. Roasted, malt aroma. Sweet and malty, little touch of a bitter flavor toward the end. Overall, very nice.

On tap at the brewery. A copper color with a moderate head. A malty flavor with some caramel and toffee present. It was pretty bland overall. Next.....

Bottle. Murky brown with slight red on the edges.Head starts off medium but quickly turns to just a few scattered bubbles, not pretty. Aroma is malt syrup with a mellow fruittiness. Taste is roasted malts in a sticky sweet malt juice. Is Victory slacking lately or what? If I wasn’t so thirsty, I woulda poured it where it belongs.

This dark lager by Victory is one of their average tasting products. Don't get me wrong, Victory is one of the best brewerys in the United States.

Poured a deep dark amber color with a small tan head and a little lacing. Roasted, toasted, biscuity malt aroma. Sweet and malty, some bitterness and light roast in the taste. Overall, a nice dunkel.
