A golden colored beer with a big frothy textured, eggshell colored head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. Nice thick fluffs of film, ringlet and cap left. In the total profile grainy, fruity and a tiny bit of grassy hops. Bold effervescent mouth feel

It pours a cloudy golden yellow body with a two finger head. Nice retention, nice lacing. Aromas and flavors of wheat, raisins, prunes grassy hops and yeast. Nothing too special here.Hugely thick and creamy. Uinta's Crooked Smile is underwhelming, a bit off.

Deep straw yellow pour with a tinge of orange, tight white cap and head, some lacing. Nice malty and Noble hops balance in the nose and palate, close to German, nice lemongrass and sweet malts, a touch grainy. Very flavorful and another nice hidden ABV. Worthy.

Not too shabby. A little darker, thicker, and sweeter than expected, with a heavy grain presence and a slightly lighter than expected grassy hop bite. Good beer, not a good deal.

Sampled on 5/28/2011. Bottled on 3/28/11. This Imperial Pilsner pours a light to medium orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Medium to large sized white foamy head with nice retention and good lacing. Aroma is caramel, fruity, orange and sweet. A medium bodied Imperial Pilsner. The malts are fruity, cereal and sweet. The hops are herbal and spicy. Nice carbonation. Decent balance. A ramped up pilsner, with some lasting residual sweetness. Hides the alcohol well. Decent high alcohol beer from Utah. Is this stuff legal inside the state? I was kind of expecting this beer to be a little more spicy and a little less sweet. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Got a free bottle at the Brew's Best Beer Fest on my trip to Vegas. Champagne-style 750ml dark bottle with the cork and wires, bottled on 09/28/11. Pours a slight amber, golden colour with a frothy warm cap that has great retention and thick lacing. More on the malty-side than the hop. Smells like a pils at first, but the sweet malt comes out after breathing a bit. Basically, grainy with a touch of honey. The hops shows up a bit more in the taste, with a little bitter start (almost dry-alcohol) but the actual alcohol never shows. No burning at all, very well-hidden. Not as sweet as the aromas. What kills this is the tart-yeast that stays in the mouth in the aftertaste. Easy-going Impy Pils, but too bad for the ending.

Shared bottle at RBNAG 2011. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Nice hoppy aroma, hints of tropical fruits. Decent hoppy flavour, the alcohol is well hidden.
