First of two Milk Stout for the night (the other being St-Ambroise). Pours a dark brown colour, seems pretty clear, with copper-ruby highlights. The head is lightly beige, frothy-creamy with some nice creaminess for lacing. Milk chocolate aromas over the roasted malt base and some fairly grassy hops do come out with time. Hints of nuttiness and caramel malts. The taste shows the hops in the finish with some nice dryness, but not overly. Nutty, burnt barley, light caramel and hints of chocolate malts. Sticker on can says 4.7% ABV, but originally written - and still showing in photo on site - 6.1% ABV. Nonetheless, a good, dry milky stout.
