Pretty dark pour for an ipa. Strong sweet aroma. Flavor was caramel and tea bags, pretty sweet with a floral bitterness which balanced it out. Smooth and rich. Pretty good.

Bottle from julio’s Liquor in Mass. Pours with a red body topped by a medium thick, quickly disappearing hea with little lacing. It’s bitter and hoppy with a slight pine note as well as a slightly sweet malt note and some butter notes. Medium bodied and slightly dry.

NorCal December '07 - Not only am I able to tick off another state on my "states tried" catergory, but it's a nice IPA too. It does a fairly decent job at being a WC IPA, without really being on the WC. A typical aroma of sweet malts, piney and citrusy hops. Appearance is darker than normal, with a bit of cherrywood red to mix with the dark amber hues. A nice one-finger thick cap tops it off. Mouthfeel has a nice creamyness to it. Flavor is pretty standard stuff, with caramel malts and a mix of citrus and piney hop character. It's all at such a standard level, there's not much excitement to it. But to it's credit, it's a nice, easy drinking IPA. Suprised at the alchol content.

Pours a dark red with a dark white (?) head Leaves some nice lace behing.
Really good grapefruit and pine nose, with some biscuity malt.
The flavor is 90/10 hops to malt. Just the way I like it. The signature rough bitter finish of Chinook hops is also one of my faves.
Really easy to drink medium body with pleasant carbonation and a medium dry finish.
I sure would love to have this one around everyday. -

Not a bad IPA here and is typical of most of it's style. Has a nice and hoppy aroma with some grapefruit with an orange to rusty appearance with a nice head on top that is white in color. The mouthfeel is nice and crisp with some nice hoppy complexities as well as some nice sweet malt to balance and round things out. The flavor is bitter and floral-like with an aftertaste that is of citrus and grapefruit with a finish that is smooth and dry-like. Overall, not a bad offering here and is just too typical to the style with nothing to make it stand above the rest.

This beer is trule a hopheads favorite brew. Loved it. While it wasn't extremely hoppy, it was just enough to make the hophead in me more than satisfied. I noticed a little pine, and a real sweet aroma. A natural floral taste. Pours a reddish copper body, little head. Looking forward to trying this again.

Cask@GBBF2007. Hazy orange colour, not much head. Aroma is hops, alcohol, sweey nectar and some grapefruits. Really lovely. Flavour is grassy, fruity and caramelly along with some slight alcohol. A really nicely pleasant US IPA for once.

Good IPA. Poured a dark amber color with good head and nice lacing. Aroma was of pine and caramel to balance out the citrus. Flavor was hoped up pine and citrus, caramel that tried to balance out the hops. Not amazing but good.

Pours a deep amber-red color with a nice white head, very nice retention, almost continuous lacing along the edges of the glass. Aroma of strong citrus, some pine, some caramel. The flavor was of pine, citrus, very strongly hopped, light caramel underneath. Mouthfeel was moderate to full for the style. A pretty nice IPA, but not overly impressive.

Crystal clear deep orange color, thick light tan head on top of this brew. Fades to a thick lace and after some tine just a thick ring around my glass is left behind. Smell of hops is in the nose, grapefruit is the first to get your attention but a caramel hint of malt is behind it. Taste is hops up front, the citrus flavor coming up with its bitterness and then the malt comes to play for a spell but is quickly washed away by another attach of hops. A bit sticky on the lip sand smooth across the pallet which is a good thing here. Drinkability? How does all night sound! This brew has a nice mixture of hops and malt flavors that keep you satisfied. A must to try,
