This APA pours a clear amber. Low hops in the aroma and flavor and the body is pretty weak. This tastes a little past its prime perhaps despite being straight from the distributor and a relatively new beer in Georgia.

The aroma is citrus-like with some grapefruit present with sweet overtones with some nice hoppy bitter coming through. The appearance is a nice orange to a rusty bronze in color and very nice with a small head on top that discipates leaving thin lacing on the glass that is white in color and bubbly. The mouthfeel is very nice and full of hoppy complexity with good malty balance with a smooth and slick pallet that is nice. The flavor is pretty hoppy with nice quantities of bitter with maybe some faint caramel and sweetness with an aftrtaste that is dry but a bit lacking but not that bad with a finish that could be more bitter but it is pretty good. Overall, this is a nice pale ale and a good representation of the style but it is not the best, decent stuff here.

This is a amber colored beer, with a sticky white foam on top of the body. Fruity, floral hops invade the nose. This smells juicy and reminds me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. This brew starts off with a caramel flavor, then moves into bitter juicy hops. Fruity flavors prevail, grapefruit, and citrussy orange rind. This is a well balanced brew, and the hops never take the whole brew over at any point. From what I hear, this is still a work in progress. Paul Davis is still refining it, and he's doing a great job. An excellent brew worth seeking out if in the CT area.
