330 ml capped bottle. Poured in a tasting stemmed glass an unfiltered and cloudy old copper-ruby with reddish tones coloured ABA with a two fingers dense, fine, creamy and beige foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate roasted malts, coffeish and chocolate notes, caramel, a spicy touch with vanilla, fruity, berries and piney hops. The flavour is a deep piney-resinous hoppy bitterness on a solid roasted and sweety malts backbone, fruity with berries late emerging, notes of ashes. The mouthfeel is thick, light crispy, deep bitter and a bit sticky. The texture is watery. This medium bodied ABA has a lingering hoppy bitter finish. The bitterness on the palate is quite aggressive and leads to a not so easy drinkable ABA.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Rubyish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is a bunch of fruity and floral hops with some spices and wooden notes. Quite resiny as well. Flavour is brutally bitter hoppy ending rather grassy and hayish. Brutal bitterness.

Pours out in a hazy dark brown colour with a large dense tan-coloured foam. Resinous and grapefruity aroma with solid undertones of toasted malts and roasted nuts. Medium-bodied with notes of crackers, toasted malts and nuts with strong notes of resin and garpefruits. Long bitter and aromatic finish of resin, flowers, grass and grapefruit with dense undertones of roasted malts and spunned sugar. Still dry. really nice hoppy dark ale from an excellent brewer.
