This could be one of the best black IPAs I had. Fairly heavy on the malt and coffee, which dominates the citrus notes while not overtaking them...if that makes sense. Some black IPA or American Black Ales are too heavy on the citrus, which works against the balance....but this is almost spot on. Nice semi-creamy texture. Only had a small sample in a flight, but I hope they can/bottle this, or I’ll have to get a growler in the future.
