American Pale. Chiron Pale Ale is golden in colour. The aroma is subtle but spicy with citruc notes from the hops, balanced by biscuity malts and tart citrus fruit. A beautiful balanced and wonderfully refreshing beer.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, Golden colour, moderate white head. Lovely aroma of tropical fruits, particularly mango, passion fruit and rambutan. Light bodied. The flavour has plenty of fruity hops (tropical fruits again) , but is not too sweet. The bitterness is quite moderate though. A perfect thirstquencher.

Pours a large amount of frothy off-white head and has a golden amber appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas are mainly citrus and floral hops with notes of grains and light malts. Flavours are earthy and citrus hops with notes of light caramel and bready malts. Also some grassy hops. Somewhat sweet in the finish. Medium bodied. Creamy and slick mouthfeel. Pretty good.

Single from the LCBO. Pours a light golden colour with an amber hue and not filtered to the max. White foamy head, decent retention and some lacing. Grainy malt with the citrus hops and mild pine needles. Expecting more of a punch from the taste, but no. Good dryness, but not much flavour. Very light hops, malts. More on the fizzy side, like a grapefruit club soda water drink. Maybe they forgot to add flavours to mine. I don't know. Still decent overall.

The beer pours a hazed golden orange colour with a generous off-white head which dissipates slowly. The aroma is citrusy hops, pine, light fruit, and grass. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is pine, grains, and a punch of sweet citrusy hops at the end. Flavourful describes it nicely. -

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in an English nonick pint a clear and golden amber coloured APA with a short two fingers slight beige and soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate aromatic hops, pine and fruity, grapefruits, citrus. The flavour is caramel malts, bready notes, flowery, roses, aromatic hops, pine and fruity, grapefruits, lemon. The mouthfeel is light crispy, well hoppy and very smooth. The texture is oily. This medium bodied APA has a long pine needles hoppy finish. Not an exuberant Pale Ale but a solid, deep flavoured and well balanced Pale Ale from the Thornbridge brewery. I'm happy !
