After having Cooper's BBQ in Austin, TX, had this one at The Jackalope bar. Very slightly hazy amber colour with a creamy light beige head, pretty good retention and creamy lacing. Caramel malt base with some fruitiness. Flavours of apples over the caramel malts and hints of nuttiness with a touch of grassy hops in the finish. Mouthfeel is crisp and slightly dry. A good amber beer well-balanced with the hops.

alright!?! who ordered the baby? - did it come with pepperoni?? .. . My first thirsty planet.. . Pours a simple murky amber, decent head and lacing .. . light nuts, oatmeal, and pancake syrup with a light touch of resin .. . the smell really through this off .. . I feel like an ice cream sundae.

From a new brewer in Austin, it started out with the usual toasted, aroma with a slight hint of floral hops. The body was amber with o.k. head and lace. Then it got better, mouthfeel was thicker and smoother than a regular amber. The flavor was a big toasted nuttiness that faded into a slight hop bite. Overall a its a pretty nice amber, and i am looking forward to trying their other beers.
