Right out of primary fermentation this beer is decidedly an American Pale Ale, but as it enters secondary, a bridge to Belgium is built with a dose of Brettanomyces Bruxellensis. A 5 week maturation results in slightly dry, fruity beer with a hint of floral Brett character that will evolve over time.

From phishpond via mitchforgie. Popped the cap and it gushed furiously all over my counter. After dashing to the sink, I grabbed a glass and poured. EXTREMELY thick foam of a head. Like the stuff firefighter use. I've never seen foam like this before. The sour/acidic funk is in there, but not so much that you can't taste the pale ale under it. That was a concern of mine; I saw "pale ale" on the label and thought it would be buried...not so...nicely balanced. Cloudy orangy color. A real treat. I owe you Phishpond, old sport.

Bottle from Phishpond. Lightly hazed golden orange pour, tall white head, nice lacing, well carbonated. Belgian yeasts and Juicy Fruit gum up front on the nose and palate, with slight funk and Brett, dry white wine, some fruitiness and ample floralness. Could drink this all of the time. Very well crafted. Huge thank you to Travis for saving me a few bottle of this elixir and thanks to Travis again for letting me hang out @ The Commons all that Friday evening. Epic short trip, epic little brewery.

Dries out and funks up the pale a little. The dryness lingers in the palate along with light hops, fruit and a shitton of yeasty goodness. Well carbonated after aging, this one stands out a little.

First Commons brew I tried. It was so nice I bought another bottle to rate! Poured a unfiltered orange with a big head. Nose is floral, very fresh. Taste has nice citrus notes, some pleasant tropical fruit, finishes slightly bitter.
