Bought this to coincide with Thanksgiving dinner. It paired wonderfully. Bright yellowish-orange, and more more head than a 70s porn flick. Light spices (like coriander), barely able to detect any lavender. Light fruits, like grapes and apples and peaches. The aroma is all bready malts. Earned quite a few compliments as it was passed around the table.

Pours lemon orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma is foral. Mouthfeel is a bit watery. Flavor is sweet tangy and pepper. Finish is clean but also a bit sweet. Definitely drinkable, but this one's just not doing it for me.

I have 2 Bruery 750 mls that I am aging a bit, but this is one that I will pass on. Sampled in a 4-flight sampler at Brewgers in Vero Beach. A smooth wit for daytime or early evening. Decent pairing with food. Has some flowery flavor. I thought it was hibiscus, but apparently is lavender. A bit pricey though if you were to buy the bottle.

Bottle. For me this is one of the better Wit's out there. Pours out in a Hazy golden colour with an eruptive, almost gushing white head. Rounded, mellow, spicy aroma of mild lemon, balanced coriander, oats, jasmine, orange-blossom and Seville oranges. Quite lovely for a Wit!. Fairly light-bodied with notes of wheat, lemon-sweets, a breath of coriander and mild hay. Cotton-like mouthfeel. Rounded, cotton-like finish of tangerine, mild lemon, coriander and bananas. A classy and sophisticated Wit, this.

Bottle from SL. A big huge head and the body with hazy golden color. Strong lacing. Aroma of, gasp, ginger (some of the lavendar too), coriander. Flavor of ginger/lavendar, coriander, cinnamon, perfumey, chemical tastes (the yeast? maybe a theme for me with some of these Bruery beers), also some citrus. Mouthfeel moderate to light in body and highly carbonated. Bready yeasty malt/yeast with higher temps. Came off as a spice beer I wasn’t fond of way more than anything witbier-ish. Highly disappointed in this one. This brewery is sending me all over the place in terms of overall perception. I think it’s a personal / matchup thing, cuz others seem to have a killer high rating on this within style.

i’m actually a bit surprised this is so high. this is probably my first disappointment from the Bruery. the feel was too bubbly, the beer too light, and the lavender too overpowering. i liked the first whiff, but after that it was too much. not terrible at all, but i greatly prefer orchard black, which, ironically, is a more traditional tasting (and better) wit...and it ain't that traditional either.

Bottle from Knightly. Hazy gold, lively carbonation, huge fluffy white head. Banana and spices in the aroma along with yeast, herbal tea, and some wood notes. Quite a bit of dry spice flavor. Other flavors consist of flowers, citrus (not banana as noted in the aroma), and a definite lavender taste in the finish. Not great but overall pretty good.

Bottled@Beer Hunters, Pori. Hazy pale yellow colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, some fruits and mild spicyness as well. Flavour is quite much the same. The funny thing is that one of the first things that came to my mind with this one was Deus little brother.

This one has a whole lotta carbonation as evidenced in the huge long lasting white frothy head atop a hazy straw colored beer. An impressive lacing is left behind. This one is a robust witbier. Lots of spices, pepper, citrus zests, coriander bringing out a big wheat nose. The mouthfeel is dry and crisp. The tasting is like the aroma, spicy, citrusy, wheat. May be the best witbier I’ve had to date.

Bottle: Poured a hazy beige/orangey color ale with a super large pure white foamy head with great retention and good lacing. Aroma of coriander and orange peel is quite dominant with loads of wheat also easily noticeable. Taste is also dominated by some coriander and orange peel with light bubblegum ester and a strong wheat malt body. Body is full with lower then usual filtration and perfect carbonation. Very well done and one of the best wit I had the chance to try.
