I skipped dessert for this one. The label sold me (plus I love chocolate/peanut-butter cups). Thought it would have more peanut in there, but very mild. Could be a good thing though as I was wondering how this would work. Still, a little deceiving though if expecting a liquid Reese's. Overall, a good porter. Well balanced for the style with a creamy texture. Something I would drink again or regulary if not so pricey.....$8 for a bomber? Come 'on man!

This was the last one I ordered up at World of Beer. And no disappointments here as I was primed by my bar girl. Nice mahogany-blackiness in color. Big frothy textured, beige colored head. There's good hang time on the head. A nigh ringlet is left behind. EVERYTHIN about this beer is about peanuts/preanut butterin a bath of roasty male. Really is bliss in the glass. Medium bodied and creamy. Great Beer.

A couple of bottles shared at KnoxBeerCrew tasting: Dark leather brown pour, light tannish head, some good lacing. Chocolate aroma, roasted malts, salty nuts, kind of like those MaryJanes candies, not like a Reeses for me, but close, which I was kind of hoping for, still pleasant nose. Taste is cocoa and malt forward, roasted peanuts, brine, earthy hops. Got mostly chocolate in the flavor and not enough peanut butter. Still worth a try if just for the great aromas.

Smoky, malty aroma has an overtone of sweet chocolate and a good note of peanut - smells as if it could have been brewed using Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Pours a luscious warm sable with a fairly thick tan head that leaves good lacing. Flavor has a core of roast malt and notes of chocolate, peanuts - yep, it tastes much like a liquid peanut butter cup - and a hint of molasses. Texture has robust body and good fizz, goes down smoothly and leaves a smoky finish with peanut and chocolate notes and a hint of hops. Delightful and decadent! Makes a good dessert.
